Frequently Asked Questions

Our events are not timed. This decision is taken to make our events as accessible to riders as possible, minimising the cost to set up the events and ultimately the price we have to charge our riders.

For our Tour of the Worthys and Tour of Silchester events we have introduced a maximum entry limit to ensure we can safely accommodate all riders safely and effectively at these venues. If these limits are therefore reached, we will not be able to offer entry on the day, and pre-entry will be closed early.

Should we no longer be able to offer entry on the day, we wil communicate via the website, newsletter and social channels if we plan on doing so.

There are no maximum entry limits for the Tour of the Candovers and therefore entry on the day will be available.

Due to low demand, in 2025 we will only be offering medals on a first come, first serve basis, dependent on what stock we have left for each event. Due to low demand and an increase in cost price, the decision was taken to not purchase stock of any additional medals.

Remaining medal stock are available to pre-order when entering any of our events, and will be given out on completion of your event.

As always, ideas like these will be constantly reviewed against our values and following the feedback of our valued participants.

We send our pre-event details out once online pre-entry has closed on the Wednesday before each of our events. The pre-event email contains everything you need to know about what happens on the day of the event and what you may need to bring with you.

There will be refreshments available to buy at the event HQ before and after your ride, including soft, cold and hot drinks, as well as a selection of snacks.

During the ride, we are lucky to be supported by local baker Simple Cakes, with the long routes on each of our events containing one water and cake stop where you can sample a number of their complimentary cakes.

Riders are encouraged to bring sufficient food and water for during their ride.

We do not have any age restrictions for participating in our events. We do however ask that any under 16s are accompanied by an adult at all times and that riders enter a route distance suitable to their ability.

You can cancel your entry and receive a full refund up to 1 month before the event. If you wish to cancel your entry less than 1 month before the event, your entry can only be transferred to another one of our events.

Changes to your entry, such as the route option, can also be made up to 7 days before the event.

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for full details.

Yes, all types of bicycles are allowed at a Hampshire Tour Series event.

Menbers of our partners at Odiham Cycling Club will ride at the back of each route. The riders should make themselves known if they are the broom wagon. There will also be motorcycle riders at each of the events circling the route should you run into any problems.

All riders must return back to the event HQ by 2pm.

If you have any additional questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.
