At Hampshire Tour Series, our visitors’ & customers’ privacy is very important to us. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by Hampshire Tour Series (HTS) and how we use it.

We will collect various types of information about you to process your requests and orders, to help us improve the services we offer & to help with health & safety on the day of our events.

Information we collect

The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information. An example of this is when purchasing an event entry. You will need to provide information about each rider so we can arrange for your entry to the event. Riders will be sent email confirmation regarding their entry regardless of their marketing preferences. Those completing the order will also be asked to opt-in to our marketing channels should they wish to receive news, offers or information about our products and services. We will use this information to send you the relevant communications on upcoming events. Anyone can unsubscribe from our marketing options at any time.

If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including:

Log Files

HTS follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.

We use Google Analytics which is a web analytics tool that helps us understand how users engage with our sites. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to collect information about how users interact with our sites, which is used to compile reports for improvements to our services. The reports disclose website trends without identifying individual visitors. Data from Google Analytics could be combined with our first-party data and third-party cookies (like Google’s advertising cookies) to deliver appropriate advertising to you.

Where we have the appropriate permissions or as otherwise authorised by applicable law, we will use your information to market and advertise our products and services, our products and services.

Please note that this will not stop you from receiving service messages from us.

We use MailChimp to conduct all of our marketing email communications. If you have opted into the newsletter, your data will be transfered securely to our database in their platform. Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Our site is not intended for children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, please do not provide any information to us and instead ask your parent or guardian to do this on your behalf. You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase products or services from us. If you are under the age of 18, you must ensure that your parent or guardian purchases the products or services on your behalf.

HTS does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 18. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
