Last month, we took the difficult decision to notify you all of the cancellation of our flagship Tour of the Candovers sportive event, which should have taken place over the past weekend.
Whilst we were gutted to have to cancel all 3 of our events this year due to the Covid-19 situation, we shared with you our plans to donate all proceeds taken by entries and donations to Naomi House & Jacksplace, our charity partner, to try and bring some positivity to the situation and at least give something to the amazing charity who still carry out their work even during these difficult times.
We are delighted to announce that we have as of this week donated £605.58 to the charity. Whilst this is a much smaller figure than we would have expected at the start of the year, we are incredibly grateful to be in a position to give something back to the guys at the hospice.
We would like to thank those that gave their support for the events throughout the year despite the setbacks and those who donated extra funds to the charity. We hope that 2021 will be a better year and that we can run our events again.
