It’s been a busy winter behind the scenes for us.
As of March, the Tour of the Candovers brand you’ve all been familiar with over the last 5 years will officially become the Hampshire Tour Series.
The move is testament to the success of the sportive series, what started from its routes as a stand-alone ‘Tour of the Candovers’ event where it got its name, the event went from strength to strength, and in 2018 we added the ‘Tour of the Worthys’ and expanded again withe the ‘Tour of the Meons’ in 2019. The new brand encapsulates all 3 of our events in one brand, ensuring consistency & clarity across everything we do.
It also allows us to expand into other areas we have planned for the pipeline. Some eagle eyed viewers will have spotted the ‘running’ section of our website, something we are looking to include as part of our events. Keep an eye out on the page for updates on that in the future.
Whilst the name has changed, rest assured the same team & atmosphere behind the events’ will remain, our aim continues to be on delivering some of the best cycle sportive events in the south.
In the mean time, we look forward to welcoming you to our long-awaited 2021 Hampshire Tour Series events – more on that to come shortly!
