As the sun set on another glorious Tour of the Candovers edition, we wanted to say a massive thank you for taking part in our event, it was great to have you back and we hope you enjoyed it as much as us.
First of all, we wanted to apologise again to riders who missed the second cake and water stop due to an unfortunate instance with a local moving our signs. The good news is our very talented friends at Simple Cakes were able to package up and sell left overs to add to our charity donation to Naomi House & Jacksplace. We’d like to take the opportunity to thank Louise for the supply of delicious cakes once again, and would invite you to check out her Facebook page, a warning though – it will make you hungry.
We’d also like to thank the volunteers, marshals, motorbike riders and members of Odiham Cycling Club as well for their help in running the event, we could not manage without them.
We are also delighted to share with you that your efforts in donating or simply turning up have meant we will be donating £1,948.00 to our charity Naomi House & Jacks Place. So we wanted to say a big thank you for being a part of that. After a very difficult year, this money will go a long way for the hospice.
